Resonance FM 20/9/17

The second episode in this new run of Resonance shows opened with a pop track from ambience expert Virginia Astley, and closed with a cracking slice of Japanese synth-funk by Naoya Matsuoka called Watermelon Dandies. Along the way I dropped a tune by Negib Ould Ngainich (via Sahel Sounds), a corporate morale-booster from an 'Industrial Musical', and - in direct contrast - some acapella punk yelling by Furious Pig. I also played two tunes from the forthcoming Woo reissue, out on Emotional Rescue in October, as well an oldie for measure.

Dig That Treasure (20/9/17)
Virginia Astley - Tender
Negib Ould Ngainich - Guetna
Mary Kay Cosmetics - Saints Go Marchin' In
Furious Pig - I Don't Like Your Face
Woo - Sixties Swing
Woo - Skylight
Woo - Nostalgia
