After almost two weeks off I returned to the airwaves with a really strong episode. Bookended by underground American acts, the show started off with the boombox rock of Characteristics and closed with a brand new track by Really Big Pinecone. The show also featured a duo of tracks by anti-comedian Ted Chippington - surprisingly endearing and emotive on record - as well as a run of three songs that hopped from Brazil (Quartet Excelsior) to Senegal (Aby Ngana Diop) to Russia (Melodiya).
